Frequently asked questions for pregnancy testing;

            Is it wise to do pregnancy test anytime of the day or in the morning? 
 
The urine pregnancy test can be done at any time of the day.
However, early in pregnancy, the concentration of protein detected by the test may be low in the urine. In such cases it is a good idea to use the first morning sample to test for pregnancy.
This is because the urine is most concentrated early in the morning, and therefore the concentration of the protein is higher.
 Samples collected during the day are more dilute as you drink water throughout the day.

Taking a Pregnancy Test Early
Are you feeling tempted to take a test before your period is late? Consider the pros and cons before you do.
Pros
  • Very small chance of getting a positive result
  • If positive, relieves some of the stress during the two-week wait
Cons
  • High chance of a false negative result if pregnant
  • Feelings of disappoint with negative result
  • Possible of detection of an early miscarriage you may have missed if you hadn’t tested early
  • Expenses

N.B; Take your time before testing so that you have the accurate test results.

What is Cerebral palsy? Cerebral palsy Is a non-progressive brain damage that affects immature brain. It is a group of disorders that affect movement and muscle tone or posture. It's caused by damage that occurs to the immature brain as it develops, most often before, during and after birth. Signs and symptoms           impaired movement associated with abnormal reflexes           floppiness or rigidity of the limbs and trunk           abnormal posture           involuntary movements           unsteady walking. Patients with cerebral palsy can have swallowing problems and commonly have eye muscle imbalance, in which the eyes don't focus on the same object.
